I'm looking to replace my 85 MWB kitted Cruiser with something a little more 'roady' but still ruggard.
Ideally after a prado or surf with 1kz but open to other possibilities.
Have looked at this one - any one know it?

I've always shied from the 2.4 Turbos for obvious reasons. How bad are they? This one seems have a reasonably good engine and has a larger exhaust fitted - not sure on radiator. Driven it on and off road and it goes pretty well. Performance more like my 13BT as far as peppiness. Obviously won't lug as well and not as nice as a 1kz that I drove but that smoked and leaked and had high kms.

Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

found my 2lte prado was good, really economical and liked to rev, bit gutless on hills on 33", comfy ride on and off road. assume it will crack a head at some stage, drop a 1kz or a 1uz in it later.
Get rid of the electric hubs if you get it.

Hi JR - Not too sure on value of my cruiser yet or exactly what I'll do with it. I get moments when I don't want to loose her!
Was thinking of selling then looking for something else, but if I get a prado then some parts will swap over (rear bars, potentially winch etc), but the one above is fairly kitted. There are a few pictures and details here on ORE of mine if you check my previous posts but here is another for good measure.

The old one gave trouble and was replaced by another, the donor vehicle was very tidy and that has just had a new engine in it and gone up on trade me but the fellow wasn't answering questions re engines...
