Any club, but preferably one that's affiliated to a larger organisation, like the New Zealand Four Wheel Drive Association.

Sure, I would LOVE to have our club gather up all the new members, but realistically, that's not going to happen

Why do I ask you to join a club??

Because its the big organisations that has the leverage with Governments to keep our access to the wild country.

Monied interests will always work to keep us out of the wild country for a variety of reasons.
Your membership fees help finance that fight, and fight it is, we are in serious danger of losing the unformed roads, (Paper roads) river trips, and the like.

Clubs will also guide you in selection of ropes strops hooks and sundry equipment, they did for me and they will do it for you, willingly.

Yes, there are those out there who will say,
"Why bother!! We got all the access we need"
True, they have, but WHERE did they get it from?

Im thinking about joining them too, as they meet just down the road in g-field

Nothing wrong with Norwest either. We just meet in Kumeu. So not all that far now what with the motorway, and its only getting closer.
