Oky Doky ill start this one off :mrgreen: . Went to work today , plan to go to the movies in the afternoon , and tomorrow I plan to go to rallys to give the boys a hand 8)

well thats me done ... looks like 4wd'ing is off the menu for a while, blew my back out on thursday, cant sit, cant stand, cant drive and ohhhh f*k does it hurt even with morphine based painkillers dont do much :( :(

got some prices on stainless steel and hard rubber joins to make a custom snorkel, and gave gq a clean.

Thought I'd scored a 95A alt but it turned out to be only a 50A :x

Hopefully managed to sort another 90A now :D

Well my weekend is off to an interesting start, the buyer came an picked up my 40 this morning :cry: :( money's in the bank :mrgreen: .
Its currently on the ferry, then on its way to fairly in canterbury in the sh#ttest weather possible :lol: wrapped a tarp round the cage to keep him a little drier :lol: .
Now off to trademe to look for the next project, still trying to decide between diesel or v8 :twisted:
Didn't barbie drive a jeep??

Well I couldnt decide so I just bought a 6.2 chev diesel v8 (with some issues) off trade me :mrgreen: .
Its in welly so waiting for the guy to get back to me. Hopefully its rebuildable.. Might aswell turbo it too :twisted:

try walking start lowly but walk it does help

That's what works for my wife when hers goes out that or laying on a board (actually a wardrobe door) that was raised about a foot at one end so she could see out the window or watch TV

Deal number 1
well after finding 1 3/4 tube dirt cheap from Kaiapoi the guy gave it to me even cheaper if i bent it up myself with his bender.

Deal Number 2
went to mates work 1 doz 8% woddies later i had my front bar welded up with arch guards attached to my sliders from my new front bar and from my rear bar

got stuck in 2's backyard for an hour or so tonight :shock: Fixed a few teething problems in the process and highlighted a few more. Back around tomorrow to finish more of the final bits before the big weekend :mrgreen:

got up this morning, went to bed this afternoon, got up for tea, currently at work, ill be at home in 6hrs then str8 to bed and get up at tea time ready for another loooong night shift...flat out too... :wink:

in running the airline for the fj40 rear locker airline was to short , so unscrew it off the diff to see what fitting it is, the whole fitting came out of the diff pulling free of the copper tube , have to pull the diff head now, a little job got bigger

mate those 6.2 diesels are a dog .where abouts in welly was it .know a guy who just pulled one out of a rangy ,wonder if its the same one

Finally got round to fitting the bodylift. was easier than i imagined.
And fitted new uhf areial

6.2 was a bit of a disappointment,6.5 was a way better motor .I know a couple of guys who put them in vechicles then pulled them out again .one replaced with a 1kz and the other with a 454.vibrate like hell and for the size not very spirited performance

well thought we would try new bares out in the ashley today bars done really well but engine and computer didnt not a good day on the truck front but hey i got a new nick name out of it
