Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum, have been reading previous topics and there some good info on here.

I am looking to do a 40-50mm body lift for my 92 Pajero, just wondering if anyone can suggest the best place to get a kit. Also what is the deal with certification? Is this required? I am in Hamilton.

Couple of mates have bought these kits and are happy with them

Yeah, I bought one of these kits and put it into my 3.0 SWB NJ paj. I got them to do me a 40 mm kit instead of 50 mm (no problem, same price). 33x12.5 easlily clear.

Highly recommend 40 mm versus 50 mm since makes the bumper brackets easier to mod (rear bumper already has holes 40 mm apart), all the hoses and lines reach, plus very little modification to the centre console to get 4H. With 50 mm you'd be looking at modifying the transfer lever or butchering the centre console.

WoF: body lifts are not a warrantable modification. But not all places will pull you up on it. Low vol certification is pretty straightforward though, saves you the grief every 6 months, plus you can get oversized tyres certed at the same time.

If you're not planning on fitting bigger than 32" tyres, there's no point putting a body lift in. It'll go better off-road with the lower CoG.

I agree with pjb , as i have done a 40 mm lift , and also another good thing about a 40 mm lift is that 60 series landcruiser body bolts go straight in and are perfect length and are tapered so the Wof man doesnt hardley see them ..

I have done a 40mm bumper lifts front and rear, and it still fits 33x13.5R15 Swampers , not a problem

i got bolo to help with mine and iv never had any prob geting a warrent and im running 35's

Next step is to sell my 31's and splash out on some new 33's
