1992 Pajero clicks when going over speed bumps

sounds like something in the front suspension.. make a decently loud click noise... where should i start looking? im not very mechanically minded :(

Need more information than this, like is the clicking there when you go around in circle hard lock (try both ways L & R) ? Is it a clunk or click. Here is a good one - how fast were you going when you hit the speed hump haha :D

its not a CV click, doing appx 20kmh over a large/long speed bump on my street, would probably class is as a clunk now that you say that. - may be able to get a recording of the noise sometime.

Have you tried jumping on your bumper to see if noise there, sounds like shocks or sway bar bushes , just a thought

check your front CV joints as that go into the hub , as the surclip on the end of the CV shaft comes off, and it moves in the hub, and aso the inner hub bearings go and it moves the CV joint up and down which also makes a clicking ( clonking ) sound.... I have just replaced my hub :wink:

left front shock is loose at the top. has like 5 cm of vertical play.
