Fastway couriers..... NOT F-ING HAPPY

Post by turoa »

Package picked up in auckland at 10am expected it here yesterday morning. Left it till 10 this morning and gave them a call. Called 3 times and each time was told I would be called back. Finally 5 hours later they finally call me back to say the courier driver hasn't seen it and that it "may be lost". How the #### do you lose a $1400 parcel. I needed the ####### thing yesterday. 2 wasted days later waiting at home for it to turn up and i am pissed right the #### off

That sucks Tu
We just sailed from Auckland yesterday, dropped off 1500 TON cement to Tauranga, bringing the rest to Welly ETA Monday morning, not super fast but reliable unless it was a pallet of Heinies, could have been some spillage due to rolling.
Were they bits for your Toyota.
Good luck anyhow.

That sucks .

Of no help but a couple of years ago I sent a $15,000usd life raft to the states to get serviced , it got lost in United's freight shed . Thats when I found out the company did not carry insurance for that sort of stuff , .

Tha sad thing is we knew where it was but they would not go and look for it , it was not in the cage it was ment to be in and that was that .

A week over a year later it was delivered to the company in the states , too late we had forked out for a new one .

So moral of the story is it will be somewhere and they may turn up yet .

got home tonight to find a fastway card on the table

I presume its for me, coz I'm expecting something, but it has no name on the card or anything

was gonna arrange 2nd delivery, but if they charge, then I'll just pick it up from the depot

if its for me that is

Went down to the office this morning to get answers and they have no fkn idea where it is. The vendor in aucks has launched an inquiry as to where its gone/getting money out of them but does not have everything in stock. I needed my cruiser going by the end of next week but looks like it wont be now.

wtf do i do now

Hmmm, agreed. Got Steve (monstr) to send me some winch motors down on fastways and about a week later they ended up back at his door!!!

Up until then Fastways down here had been good but am certainly using others now.

Maybe we should have a sticky put up in the for sale section with a poll on couriers, then when someone wants to shift something they can look at the poll and read the comments before they decide.

never had a problem with fastways always on time never damaged goods always ring if there is a problem. i think it is just the franchise people down that way. all i can say is never go with united they break everything they touch, no need for a story here they just break everything.
