Toyota 80 Series Factory Diff Locks

Post by hippy_ »

I have just started to get these going. Currently I have cleaned and rebuild the rear diff lock. I had the truck on the hoist and had the diff lock engaging/disengaging, take the truck off the hoist, with the diff lock off. I them drove the truck back and forward in the workshop with the diff lock on, it was engaging going forward and would disengaging when going backwards??? Is that odd?? Then I drive home and try it again....... This time its stop engaging at all??? I cant work it out??

Any ideas??
