Jaffa Driving Remurewa Tractor - HELLO!

Hi All,
I am a newbie to this site and 4WD'ing.
A little about myself:
94' Pajero S/Wagon. 3500 V6 Petrol, Auto!
I am a rec 4wd'er and was keen to meet similar ppl around me, so this site looks like the best start.
I have been around the lakes in Rotura and Muriwai and other beaches north of Auckland, but I am yet to find a rather challenging yet safe track for my precious truck. I would love forest drives or muddy ones.
I also work for Dunlop/Goodyear New Zealand as a Sales Rep. So if anyone has any questions or help they need with tyres please feel free to drop me a message, I reply as soon as.
So hello to all, and feel free to chat.

Welcome aboard... there are a few members in Auckland, hope you have a good panelbeater... most of them seem to play in Thompsons Track

If you've never heard of it you soon will... THATS the place to go for mud up there I believe...
Just remember, chicks dig body damage

Thank you guys!!!! This is a very welcoming site good STUFF!
however i do have one really dumb question:
Where is Thompsons Track??????

Thompsons track is Coromandel, south end. Are you in a club? Norwest OHV and Shore 4 Wheelers have access to some great spots for club runs not too far North. Both are great clubs with some really knowlegeable chaps, not sure about Pajeros though. You know what Pagero translates to aye

. I'm sure some of the other Auckland clubs also have great runs, I just haven't been on a run with them.

It's not Coromandekl - it's BoP. Just south of Katikati.

Sorry, I'm North of the Bombays, everything East of the Firth as far down as Tauranga is greater Coromandel area
Muriwai is always good for a play. If you want mud the clubs have lots of places, including Extreme 4WD Park, which reminds me, enduros this Sunday.

Just a reminder for you new guys make sure your Trucks are insured for "offroad", most insurance co's don't allow this by default, if you kill it offroad and its not covered you are stuffed.
Essential Kit to carry
Recovery Strop
Shovel
First Aid Kit
Fire Extinguisher
Rated Towhooks (properly mounted) are useful...the good ones...not eg from supercheap
have a look at
http://www.4wdbits.co.nz...they can kit you out when you are ready....stjohns.org.nz have good first aid kits
