Rear crossmember/towbar section rusted through. Fix?

Hey guys,
My 70 series just failed a wof on a few things. One that I'm trying to figure out the best option for is the rear crossmember has rusted from behind. Right in the centre where the 4 bolt holes for the towbar are.
I thought about just welding a plate over it but then the custom made rear bumper won't fit anymore. Ideally it needs a plate welded in flush with the surface with the same mounting holes drilled into it.
Either that or I find a donor vehicle and cut out that section to swap over.
Can anyone recommend the best way to fix this? I can weld myself but might be best to get an engineer to do it, anyone know a good place in the Hutt Valley?
Anyone have a donor/parts Landcruiser in Wellington that I could cut that section out of?
Cheers
