Hi guys,
Am looking at one of these, and just wondering peoples thoughts in general, along with any knowledge of fuel economy, known issues etc? Are they on a par with the 3.0 diesel?
Cheers
Mike

Seems to be plenty of info on http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/forum/
General consensus is that they are gutless and use too much fuel. Have driven one myself and would agree, they are also prone to cracking heads, a big reason for that being the exhaust arrangement.
Nowhere near on par with the 3ltr diesel.
