In todays Dominion the LTSA has announced that from the 1st of May 2004 all owners of 4wd's will have to pay an addtional fee on their rego.

The new fee of $365 per annum will cover all 4wd vehicles for damage caused to the environment and roads.
They beleive that 4wds are repsonisble for seeds and noxious plants growing in areas not accessible by other vehicles and this is costing the govenment millions of dollars in weed control becuase 4wd owners are not cleaning the undersides of thier trucks.

I think that DOC may of had some input to this!!! :evil:

What can we do about it??

Maybe we could start a petition.... think about all those 4wd owners... wonder if it covers 4wd cars n stuff too....
