Evening all

My surf has developed a bit of a leak over the last couple of weeks. looks like diesel and comming from the injectors area. so my question is who is a good place to go in CHCH to get fixed, have heard it alot of money so pretty keen to have it as well spent money with a good place. any information would be great and any idea of costs would be good to.

Cheers

Dan

P.S its a 95 1kzte surf

Hi Dan, it is unusual to get a leak from the injectors themselves unless you have a broken or loose pipe or leaking sealing washers. If the motor has done over 130000 + ks with out an injector o/haul it is probably time to have them serviced, if you are mechanically minded and have a workshop manual it is not a big job to remove the injectors , get them serviced and then refit them. If on the other hand it is the injector pump that is leaking then I would recommend to get the specialists to do the whole job,yes it will cost $800 plus. We use DIESEL PUMPS Ltd, 31 Parkhouse Rd, ph 3481132, Scotty is the boss and he will give you an idea of cost before he starts the job.

IF IT'S GOT TIT'S OR WHEELS IT'S GOING TO COST YOU,

FITZY.

I'm afraid its time for a tickle up. best to do the injectors too while you are at it (and maybe the glow plugs as well). Gonna cost a few $$$ but worth it unless you are going to sell it soon.
