the f300 Rocky petrol parts are .. there is little difference between the petrol rocky/feroza apart from the tails lights (the rocky usually has the lights in the body instead of the bumper)

the f75 Rocky diesel is a completely different truck and nothing is compatable except for maybe the badges

so if the wreckers have a F300 rocky grab what you need off it

so in short

f300 petrol rocky YES
f75 diesel rocky NO

Sounds like you need to take it off and have a wander around "pick a part" to find a simillar match.

The alternator may be the the same unit as the Suzuki Sierra, (according to some research ive done) .. maybe the best bet would be to yank the alt and take it into a wrecker and try and match one

also from anthor forum

PalmerXJ...it looks like the stock alt for Toyota 22RE vehicles has the same configuration as the Rocky unit and it has the 12 o clock plug location AND it's a NIppondenso! Could be a direct bolt in upgrade! DO you have your original yoda alt and if so can you snap some pics next to the rocky alt so we can compare?

Also, looks like the 1st gen MR2 with the 4AGE NA engine should be a direct bolt in too.

maybe worth comparing those as well

cheers ......meece 4x4....

lynx ....put new bearings in alt , but something is bent in there ....had a couple of people look at it, had them beat ......
it spins free still , but any pressure when back in mounts or vice it locks up still ........will put up picks as you can see were it rubs ..... just gotta do brakes in jeep first ...

cheers again guys ..... Wayne

sounds like the one you got is only missing a spacer on the bracket. it like a tube that goes over the bolt between the front and back of alt bracket. remember this bolt does not need to be real tight as it is the adjuster bolt that holds it in place.
