Intercooler size for a Toyota N1-t diesel

Hey guys,

I have a Suzuki sj413 and a Toyota N1-t (1453cc turbo) diesel engine ready to put in it. I would like to install a top mounted intercooler to up the HP and keep the little engine and turbo nice and cool but I am unsure of what to look for in an intercooler.

Does anyone here have any experience in intercoolers that would be able to recommend a reasonably common top mounted factory intercooler that would be suitable?

Plenty of Isuzu 3.1 intercoolers around but from what I have heard a big intercooler is not as effective on a small engine as a smaller intercooler.

Hope someone can help with the baby diesel,

Hamish.

you might also like to have a read through the following article:

Apparently the intercooler requirements for a turbo diesel are diffferent from a turbo petrol due to the diesels being on boost more often and for longer (as well as other reasons).
