Lift blocks best place to buy

looking at lifting my L200 50mm but just wondering best place to buy universal lift blocks as specific ones for an L200 don't exist? anyway with 50mm will i need longer bolts or will factory ones make it ? also does a body lift make the vehicle turn into a boat on road ? as my 31's are rubbing on lock

any good engineering place should be able to knock some up for ya,as for bolts reaching just measure how much thread there is below the nut on the u bolts and that'l tell you straight away but usually you need new bolts,as for body lift making it a boat,not usually or at least ive never experienced that,do remember though that if road vehicle and you care bout legalities it is a item that requires certification

We use this guy for our body lift kits, we've got them in 5 hiluxes so far and they've been good. He should be able to sort something out for your truck.

Blacks http://www.blacksfasteners.co.nz sell UHMWPE rod.... check out the web site & figure out how much you need.If you know someone with a lathe you can get them to cut it to the required length & then drill the holes.

or go to DOTMAR http://www.dotmar.co.nz/uhmwpe.html Im fairly sure they will be able to sell you the rod then cut it to length & drill the holes for you, then courier it to you.

Way cheaper than buying a kit of trademe.

cool thank guys, have inquired about a 50 and 60mm rod tray has 50 body is 60mm will see what the prices are, will get it milled up here. also will look at local engineering shop for alloy blocks might be cheaper also will see.

well it wont be UHMWPE

UR060 (60 dia UHMWPE) x 800mm long = $127.68 + GST
UR050 (50 dia UHMWPE) x 600mm long = $ 64.08 + GST

so will try alloy blocks from local engineering shop but to be honest looks like a trade me kit looks to be the best option.

who are those prices through? Pretty sure trade price from the likes of blacks fasterners is way cheaper than that.

Ive bought kits from Hayden , excellent service and product. I looked at buying bolts then buying UHMWPE rod. Easier and quicker for me just to get it thru Hayden

yeah its looking that way, he can do one for an l200 so i'll just use him! easiest option
