Am looking at organising a first aid course for those interested (maybe more than one if there are numbers to support this). this is open to anyone and there will be a cost to this as this will be done professionally (ie not just me showing you how to put on plasters...)

put your name down and i will come back with costs etc , and look at organising when sufficient numbers/

I've done a few first aid courses and I'd recommend an outdoor 1st aid course rather than just a st john/ red cross one (Shorter often workplace type tickets). MSC or similar courses are far more comprehensive if you wanted a little more indepth one. Triple one care do the courses for SARINZ and they are very similar. The St John ones are good but i think ones delivered with the outdoors in mind are far more valuable as often we aren't within a quick drive of an ambulance and people at an accident might have to care for the patient maybe for extended periods of time.
The ones we do are targetted at up to 24hrs care if needed.

Any training is better than none but thats just something to think about maybe.
