Just a stab in the dark here, but it looks like the coilover bolts failed. I wonder if they threw away the supplied stepped spacers for the heim ends, and made new ones that enable you to use a larger bolt. Thats what I did with my coilovers. My truck weighs 2100kg, I bet that lump is near double that

I read an article on this truck, was built as a show peice, demonstrating what can be done. I'm surprised the americans then tried to use it, on a jump off all things.
