Its getting another engine upgrade (technicaly engine number 5 but I'm calling it number 4

I brought a chev LQ9 engine a while back and its spent a few months collecting dust in Stinkys workshop untill he threatened to stick it in Taz's redneck truck if I didnt do something with it. Its the high performence truck version LS2 engine, it came out of a 2004 or 2005 silverado and uses a cast iron block, alloy everything else and all the 6 litre LS2 stuff inside. Sigs making a start on his new 70 series project sticking an LS1 into it so by doing mine at the same time its just a matter of making 2 of everything as he goes, we've got the same bellhousings and everything else so they will be the same twin plate clutches, the wiring looms will be stripped down to the same wires and all that sort of stuff etc

The bodys getting a bit tired, there isnt too many straight pieces left on it and the panels are starting to suffer from a bit of rust but the tub is still in pretty good nick so theres a few replacement panels arriving for it, got given a new fiberglass roof from G.Guy for a bargin giveaway price and picked up a good rust free drivers door the other day and think I have my hands on a good passenger door and windscreen frame but still have to follow them up. The guards should be easily repairable and its not hard to find guards for those things if they turn out a bit worse than they look?

So
Will need a hand from a few people to get the tray off the back of the truck on Saturday if anyones free and are also planning to waterblast as much mud as we can get out of the chassis, strip off the side bars, front clip and roof and start cleaning up the chassis with a few sanding discs and get some rust converter on it and prepare it for painting and also planning to drink a few cans and talk a bit of shit

Where: Monster Garage Stokes Valley
When: Sat 21st August from 10am onwards
Beer and BBQ provided: Yep
If you dont know the address pm me or Sig or contact on 0274 424080
Parking would be prefered up on the street so the shared right of way dosent get blocked and Sig and Mrs Sig can get in and out to get the kids off to sport and back.
I'll have some sanding discs but could do with another grinder or 2

Thanks for all the help with the truck last weekend guys, just got a little bit to finish off to get the chassis ready for preping and painting
Only way I can get the 800kgs of mud out of the chassis is to pop the cab off (4 bolts, brakeline and steering shaft) and tip the chassis on its side to hose and rod out the chassis so the mud can drain out so will need a little bit of lifting power to tip it on its side, usuall beer, nibbles, bbq etc provided
