Haven't posted in a while! Finally bit the bullet and ordered a full set of OME shocks for my Prado a few days ago - it seemed to be the best option. They were ridiculously expensive though at £305! Hope they are worth it. Just out of interest, what do they cost on that side of the planet??? Can anyone tell me if I am going to run into hassles using the original springs? Also any advice on fitting them would be appreciated. :D

About $160 nz ea.
Bleed the shocks before you fit them. Hold them vertical, the correct way up, and fully compress them twice allowing them to fully extend after each compression. Then fit them without allowing them to lie down !

Bummer!!! :( Oh well, wonder if it would have worked out cheaper with the shipping and all... so looking forward to getting them on though! Hope my expectations are not too high, but my old standard shocks are aweful and after 200k kms, they must be fairly knackered! Just hope the difference is noticable - my wife will KILL me if it isn't!
