NP 203 questions

How yall doin, looking for some info.. I just bought a new [dry case] 203/part time from TCE for my 78 Suburban. TCE says 5qts 10w/30-40, GM says ATF, the locals say 80/90w gear oil. Doe's 5qts sound right. Any breakin procedures, any advise appreciated. Thanks, Mike
