240v AC to 12v cigarette lighter socket adapters $10

Post by flyingbrick »

Thought someone here might be interested in this- I've been using a (bulky) pc power supply for running 12v stuff inside but this is far easier.

The GF bought a battery charger off this asian bloke on TM in hamilton. The charger is a 12v unit but he also sells these converter units to let them operate inside. I got one too and it looks to be damn good- especially for the money.

I'm sure the current coming out is not too flash but its perfect for bench testing your trucks stuff inside where its warm.

If anyones interested i'll dig out his e-mail address and a photo or two. $10 + postage and he'll let you collect if you live in hamilton.

his mail address is nfo@baabaacheap.co.nz if you just write and say that you have heard he sells the converters for $10 you may get lucky!

also his other listings have shitloads of cheap automotive converters and stuff
