Fuel pump problem, pajero jap import

trying to find out if anyone is having fuel pump problems with 2.8 turbo diesel pajeros jap imports ours is1995 model- garage has fixed 6 in past 2 weeks is there a problem with this model symptoms motor cuts out after about 2 kms on cold start

I was advised by a guy in Queenstown about a problem with those, cant remeber if it was the fuel pump, he works at Alpine Automart/Mobile ... names Donny...

Having read numerous posts on the http://www.pocuk.com website I'm pretty sure I've got a similar problem with the fuel pump seals on my Pajero. Apparently it's common on pre 1996 2.8TD Pajeros (and Delicas)

Does anyone know of a good diesel specialist in West Auckland who would be able to replace the fuel pump seals?
