hi guys, been reading through ur forums for a few days now and trying to learn what I can.
Live in Wellington and new to 4wd'n.
Have a 01 Hilux that is an ex club ute so has snorkel, tow hooks, a slight lift (think heavy duty springs in rear rather then emus or anything fancy), and muds (kumhos, 33s I think).
Keen to get into the mud and have a bash on a few tracks with a few fellas that can give advice on technique etc.
What other mods will I have to do to keep up with you guys on some of the more basic tracks.
Did Mikes safety course over the weekend so I have got that far other then cruising around south coast/redrockswith no probs whenever I want to go for a dive.
Also hit me up when work needs to start in RW for the winch comp, eager to help with that as its all learning for me!
Cheers
Alex

cheers, will do.
Guessing the pics are a bit of a laugh - you can chuck them on for the benefits of others if you want.
Keen for next week will have to check the work roster.
