Good thing for that roll bar eh.

I cleaned the dents up fixed the radiator and put new mounts in for the motor because it was on a bit of a lean and away she went.

Hahaha good eye noticeing the shocks ive got some 2in lifted landcruiser shocks in the workshop that i need to fab on.
The steering is just some hi steer arms from SNR with the hilux draglink and a small P/S box that was on when i got it.
I think i will have to upgrade the P/S box when i get some bigger rubber.
Some 33 Simexs or silverstones sound good anyone got any laying around? :P

It handles alot better now its got alot less body roll.

Didnt get my simexs in the weekend (5 hour drive to pick them up)
But i did get this today. 8)
Image
It came with manifold, wastegate, oil lines, dump Ect.....
and with a but of cutting grinding and welding it will fit nicely.
And its going to sound a minter straight up to this.
Image

Im still pretty green to most of this so hopefuly i will be able to hook it all up with oil and cooling correctly

Here how it sits now with the chassis extenision and i re-jiged the leaf packs for the millionth time.

Lovin it :D

Not sure about the rain gauge exhaust :( you might wanna put a cover over the top. Nice little turbo badge there.

Any pics of mounting the lux axle - is the rear drive shaft just running on an angle fron the trans and does this give any bad vibes? Considering doing the axle swap as well so am keen to know what issues you had.

Cheers

Lol i will have to put a flap or cut a slant onto the exaust when i hook it all up. I will go get some pics of the mountings soon and try get them up for ya and this zuk its LWB   so its a little bit longer than the SWB and i moved the diffs back and forwards a bit. This made the rear driveshaft a bit longer so less angle and no vibes

Rito got the intake and exaust manifolds grinded and bolted to the motor
Now when thinking about plumbing up from the turbo to the intake i think theres enough room for an intercooler and was thinking of something like a bighorn intercooler.
I reckon this would help lessen the chance of my motor explodeing on me.
But it seems all to simple to just plumb it from turbo to intercooler to intake. Does it need a fan or water tank or anything?

Thanks.

And for doggoneit i just made some pearchs with 50mm by 100mm Boxing cut to size, hole grinded out of he middle, sat them on with new original SJ413 u-bolts and the original SJ413 U-bolt plates fliped ontop of the spring, pointed pinion at T-case tacked them on, took springs off welded them up and boxed the ends up

8) 8) Stoked today the turbos whistleing
Been working on it for a while and got it all finished up today fired it up and went for a small drive. Hooning through a paddock in 2nd then the turbo kicked in and the rear wheels skidded out :D very cool.
The truck seems to handle the 33in tires good, Now just a few more things to tidy up and she will be all go!
