Glow plug timer sets the time that the glow plug relay is on for (and the afterglow relay as well, there are two of them in a Toy). The glow plug timer is a grey box in the passenger side kick-panel, the glow plug relay is a black box on the top of the passenger side wheel well up near the firewall.

Quite totally different I'm afraid :)

Also, the timer and the glowplugs are different between the turbo and non-turbo engines I believe, so it pays to use the right one. (although I can't remember if its a voltage thing, a heat thing or a time thing...)

Yeh its the glow plug timer, the one thats in the passenger side footwell kick panel. So at the moment I just turn the glowplugs on by getting a piece of wire and hotwirein it on the battery for lyk 10secs but yeah if i could get it another one off you monaro I would definitely be keen.
Cheers,
DAN
