Barwork for Conans Surf

Well, I've been working at this on and off for a few days (weeks
) now, and Conans been bitching at me to see whats happening (yes, his truck is back in my shed using valuable beer-fridge space again...)
So heres the bar I made... need to flip the g-clamp so it doesn't catch and put one on the other side so the winch cradle doesn't fall off... oh, and I'm gonna duck tape the top of the bar to the bonnet so it doesn't slip off sideways.
I've spent hours on it... its a masterpiece...
---------------------------------------------------------
Well, actually - heres the real basis for the winch cradle:
And heres the main barwork (bit more bending and welding to do yet):
And the complete assembly:
Theres a bit of gussetting and bracing to go in yet, but the basis is there. Open to suggestions and comments on the design, since its not really like anything I've seen... just something I came up with that worked out well using the bits of pipe that I had lying about (No-one tell Rik this post is here and I'll be all good
)
I've done a rear bar as well, although its jammed against the back of the shed and I F%$ked up the brackets a little bit so no-one gets to see those till I make new ones
