Those of you with a 3 litre Petrol Surf, what sort of economy are you getting out of it? I'm running one at present and seem to be getting about 6.5kpl and can't rave about the performance at all. Its an auto.

No... it just confirms what I thought :) Seem to be getting only a bit over 300kms from the 55 litre tank. The price I got it for is enough to keep me smiling until I replace it. Just been good to get some wheels after my Cruiser sold. This will keep me mobile until funds recover from killing my mortgage, renovations, weddings and such things...

Not sure how the auto is, seems pretty jerky although its been worked on in the past. The body is good and the kms are pretty low. Seems sluggish but normally is going faster than you think. Rides nice, would be an excellent base to build up a project.

Ive got a dirty old v6 surf, and to be honest i dont find it too bad. It is a 5spd though

I get about 400kms from the 55-60l tank. Its never going to set the world alight in a straight line race, but has enough power on tap when needed

Best thing to do in my mind is sort the exhaust out. I put a 3inch exhaust on mine and it seemed to help it out a lot

I just wouldnt recommend it as a daily driver unless you have shares in BP!

Will be daily driver for a while, nice ride actually. Won't be spending much money modding it as its hopefully just a fill in till funds free up and I track down another truck. Was just needing some wheels as the cruiser sold quicker than expected and the Datsun which was the other vehicle spat its flywheel off the crank.
