Just failed my wof for a loud exhaust as well as a couple other things. I would agree its loud but its a 4l straight 6 and it sound great compared to my boyracer friends...
but anyway is there a decent shop in auckland who could put a bigger muffler on and try and quiet it down abit to keep the wof people and my ears happy. i know you get what you pay for but im a uni student so i cant afford anything too flash.

Pete is your man and has been involved in 4WD's even before they were invented.

Finally got a new exhaust system. old one was rusted and cracked and i also had exhaust leaks at the manifold.
Had to get new headers too as old one was farked and they had to be slightly modified and then got a 2 1/4" system plumped through and then out the hole in the rear chassis member.

All work was carried out by Woolf Mufflers in Auckland. Great service they knew what the truck was used for and that i wasnt after some fancy chromed pipe and it appears to be good workmanship.
