Hi all I have a 93 KZJ78 prado, I want to hook up some after market gauges particularlly Oil temp and pressure. Just wondering if anyone has done it. Where would people recommend hooking up the sensor?? Will an Oil Sandwich plate work at all?

I personally recommend the sandwich plate. Have used two of them before without problem. no need to drill or tap holes and any sensors you have that came with the gauges will screw straight in.

http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/ ... =+pressureThese gauges are good for all applications, just get the right sender and its done (okay you do have to change a few parameters inside - but then its done).

Just look around the oil filter and make sure there is room for it to sit 2" or so fuirther outwards.
Buy the spacer from repco or supercheap and test fit it on a a new oil filter to make sure the thread and seal diameter is the same.
