My surf has a similar vibration to Mikes, it started of vibrating in the front hub or diff occasionally until I had to remove the flange off the right side and put a manual hub on so I could disengage that front cv. Sounds like a spline slipping but not sure.

Hoping to fix it when my locker arrives (cheers steve) so any idea of what it could be would great
