KJZ78 auto

Hi all Owners that drives a KZJ78 auto, does any one know where the temperature probe for the auto transmission warning light comes from or where about is it ??

Its on the right hand side of the auto, its mounted in a boss which is in the plumbing pipes that go thru to the cooler.
Just forward of the selector box thingie.

You will probably need to get an adapter machined to get the aftermarket probe to fir...

hey does anyone know what 1uz motor will work with the a343 prado gearbox? mates 1kz has just crapped out and we are thinking of putting a 1uz in but would like some info b4 we go ahead, anyone know of anyone who has done this conversion b4? any info would be much appreciated.

i had an adaptor made to fit into the lines closer to the trans cooler inlet to give a reading to the trans temp gauge, got all the parts from Dewtec on Tremaine ave
