Go for a drive out to McLean's Island behind the airport and just over the stop bank there are Two rifle ranges, I think there is a sign on one of them advertising open evenings where you can use their range under strict safety conditions and guidance. Give one of the Sports shops, Gun City, Hunting and Fishing, Hamill's, a ring they will be able to advise you. Don't use River Beds. Dis used shingle pits are good but get permission.

KEEP SAFE,

FITZY.

thanks guys yeah thats why i am asking safety is def a big concern for me & not annoying other people in the area. did think about using some of the hunting blocks but dont want to scare deer for other hunters.
