Pulled the air con out from my sj413 today and was wondering what to do with the two pipes going to the core?
I was thinking just to join both together?

Because there are 2 hoses leaking coolant in the engine bay that used to go to the A/C that i want to fix :?: :?:

So it is the heater core hoses then.

If it was the heater hoses from the motor then loop them back together to complete the coolant circuit for your engine side.
The cabin side can be left open....

A/C generally refers to the cooler part of the system... which wont leak anything once de-gassed.

If its the heater core then do as kbushnz said. Its pressurised so chances are will blow silicone out eventually :!:

Also you said you are going to make some
bung holes

I'm interested to see this? are they holes that require bung-ing (you already have two of those ) or are they bungholes

bung·hole (bnghl)
n.
1. The hole in a cask, keg, or barrel through which liquid is poured in or drained out.
2. Vulgar Slang The anus.

I saw that and thought you meant the air con cooling pipes too. :? If you have the heater unplugged why not just remove the heater shite altogether while you are at it too (or is that what you meant you had done  ?

On my old vitara (Meece's "Mistress" now) I made up a piece of hose to join the two heater pipes together (closed the loop), everything else got ripped out.
