2LT-e Fuel Leak

Hi
I have a LJ78 with a 2LT-e and it has developed a fuel leak which I suspect is the fuel pump. I have done a search through the forum but could not find a lot of info.
The truck has just done 200K so I am assuming that one of the seals have gone, the reason I suspect this is because if I don't start her within a day I have the prime the fuel filter to get some pressure for her to start.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Blake

Not cheap to remedy, unless you have a tame fuel specialest
Get some quotes

I finally found the fuel leak. Looks as though it is coming from the small cover on the bottom of the pump, have indicated it in the photo. My next question is does anyone know what is behing this cover ie just a access port or if I open it will springs and other bits come firing out??

If possible I'd like to remove the panel and check the seal myself but dont want to do this if its going to be more hassle than its worth.
Thanks for your help

I found this the other day regarding the tear down of a 1KZT pump.
The cover you describe looks exactly like the 2LT cover.
Have a look...
http://www.estimaowners.com/community/t ... rhaul/HereUnder the cap is a spring with a plunger under the spring.
Also in the cap is a washer for the spring to rub against.
If its just and oring change, I cant see any problems with carefully removing the cap.
Leave spring in place and change the oring.
Have fun.

Are you able to see the part number on the pump?
2 years ago I got a brand new injector pump from Toyota in Oz for around $400.
The part number is 22100-5B300
They may still be available.
