fitting NISSAN style manual hubs

myself and some others here have aftermarket manual hubs which appear to be the same as the genuine NISSAN manual hubs.
The sort sold here: http://www.4wdbits.co.nz/ProductDetails ... uctID=1485
There is a lack of correct information around as to how they are fitted into the auto/locked vehicles which is why im posting this.
Firstly- I believe that vehicles which came equipped with manual hubs have different C-clip locations to trucks with auto hubs which think causes the confusion.
The factory manual hub diagram showing spacer sleeve is NOT correct for these hubs.
This is how I did mine and what my truck needed- do hot hold me responsible if this is not right for your vehicle.
OK, so you undo the hey bolts and pull off the auto hub assembly.
On the axle working from the outside inwards you will have a C-clip, A washer and then parts from automatic hub assembly.
Undo the C-clip and slide off the washer and auto hub parts.
slide the washer back down the axle, then the new manual hub piece and then retain the axle with the C-clip you removed.
On my vehicle this removed virtually all of the slop without any need for extra C clips, spacers or shims.
bolt your new manual hub down with the supplied bolts.
I recommend using never-seize on the bolts and If you like some steel washers under the head of each one would probably be good too.
The factory manual hubs have some steel plates which tie the heads of the bolts together- these hubs do not come with those and im unsure how important they are.

EDIT. DO NOT USE the washer as described above.
