canterbury trip, sunday 31 oct

Post by nickcampbell »

continuing on from saturday, or for people who can't attend saturday worsely spur trip, if anyone is keen to have a gander at ashley river or selwyn river... feel free to arrange a time/meeting spot here. I most likely will go anyways with my mate, but extras are welcome.
No requirements, except a snorkel would be advisable if you intend on coming rite up to the gorge with me or appropriate tow hooks (front and rear) so we can winch/tow you across. Aswell as a walky talkey

sure can make it 12:30, better plece to meet is at the park just before the ashely bridge, in rangiora, its on the right, theres just a big area of grass (Milton Ave). But christchurch people can meet at belfast pub, just before highway. ill be driving past belfast pub at around 12:00 if anyone wants to follow me, ill wait there till 12:10, then head to the ashley bridge. Any problems fling me a txt on 0272222545

was an awesome day! Only one truck stuck (my flatmate...time to get him some real hooks) The truck preformed bloody well with its new feet, im really happy. I still have to cut more off the flares though as i popped/unclipped three out of four of them....one happened in the first 100m and wasnt realised that it was missing till i was half way up the river. (I owe u a beer wayne).
