hi there, I am after a secondhand, or new radiator for my 110 3.5L V8, I have looked at getting it recored, but probably will be expensive, ideally looking for a secondhand one in reasonable condition.

Shouldn't be that expensive and as it is, you would probably end up paying more for a recon or second hand one that needs to be tested and/or recored anyway.

What part of the country are you in

I'm in the Wairarapa. I rang up a guy today and he reckons would be between 300-500 bucks to get it recored, Maybe that might be the best option? Must admit I didn't think about the fact that I would have to get it tested if it was second hand...

Outback 4X4 has loads of Disco rads that one can replace it with. I just bought a recored unit (recored only a few months before wrecking) for $145 incl GST!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that's more like what I was thinking. 3-500 bucks is a bit steep unless you wanted gold plating.

I still have the Rad that i mentioned as I changed my mind abouth the project i wanted it for so let me know if already have one. Cheers

Defender radiators are quite a bit narrower than a disco
