2lte to 3l conversion

Well just finished my 2lte to 3l conversion and drove it home for the first time from the exhaust shop and what a difference bewteen the 2.8l(3l) and 2lte motor..The 3l motor seems so much quicker,Didnt drive it far as had no water temp gauge
..I will do a write up/piccys on the conversion as there were a few bits and peices that had to be changed but no biggy will give a idea on price's if anyone alse is doing it..all the brackets had to be swapped bewteen motors, only little problem was the dust plate bewteen motor and gearbox is different(found this out AFTER everything was in/bolted up) bewteen the 2 motors so the one i have in there now is a bolt out allthough doesn't matter it still annoys me!
Had plenty of people telling me I should have just chucked the turbo gear on it,But for what i want it for I'm more then happy with the way it goes
3l motor from yukkon $2500-There were cheaper but this was
the newst/lowest k's i could find
Got a full 2 1/4 exhaust system with extractors from hornby exhausts $700
Radiator $85
Viscous fan re wax $75
$15 to get a filler neck put on radiator (2lte one is on the thermostat housing) from burnside radiator(had to get these done for motor warrenty)
Delo400 gold $39.99 for 5lx2
Antifreeze $40
Flexi intake pipe $50
Egt gauge and water temp gauge about $115 each from auburins
Big thanks to Chopper for doing the swap for me and drinking my beer,And Leigh at hornby exhausts, he is the man to go to
Cheers,Rob
