Whats interesting is the offending vehicle, should be known around town surely

On Tuesday the 17 August 2010, a black 2003 Hamilton jet boat fitted with a 400hp Chevrolet motor was stolen from a rural property in Halkett Road, West Melton, Christchurch.

There is no photo available of the boat.

The boat is on a single axle trailer, registration number C708T

Distinguishing Features:

Boat:

Hamilton 151 Hull

Painted Black

Grey stripe down both sides

Seats covered in black vinyl with a red stripe in middle of seats

Black interior carpet

White aerial and base mounted on starboard side by the front passenger seat.

Trailer:

Aluminium Single Axle

Grey plastic guards

Broken grey plastic guard - unknown which side. Matching piece left at scene.

Possibly has a Wanaka Marine sticker on the back of it.

Offending vehicle:

Black Dodge RAM

Tinted side windows

Silver spoked wheels

yeah I think I'd be doing my thieving using a slightly more anonymous truck than a black Dodge Ram with tints and huge chromes.

Still, if you're going to be a thieving prick then you might as well do it in style.

it would have been stolen as well I would say. F**kin rude though.

yeah true my uncles trucks been taken before and had his door kickd in and all his stuff taken must be some pretty rough buggers round aye. its just bullshit

I seen a black dodge ram with chrome wheels so i took the number plate and it turns out its Rare Spares ute so doubt he would of stolen it, he charges enough he could buy his own boat.
