Nice job, you may want to use those hex head studs all round though.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

When you hover over your thumbnail in photobucket, there is a drop down list. I think its the bottom one you highlight and copy, then paste on here.

is that just temporary to get everything in the right position or, once its welded up, will be the final product ?
just wondering why you didn't start with a bit of curved pipe.

Tweake, I did start with a curved piece of pipe. If you look closely you will see that it was a 2" weld bend that I split in half and seperated to fit the shape of the flange then added shaped pieces in the middle. I then squashed some 3" pipe to fit the shape and thats it. Will finish welding at work tonight and post the finished product tomorrow.

Mouse over the thumbnail, drop down box appears and left click on IMG code to highlight, right click to copy and paste in message.

they way the company made the one i bought was they used a 3" pipe and squished that down and fitted it INSIDE the flange. its welded on the inside and outside. i'm told they break off after a while if you butt weld it to the flange.

nice bike :)
