New Guy

Post by nt_a_foz »

Hey guys,

Come to find a bit of info for my surf, First 4x4 and its a 1993 4X4 Surf with the 3.0L Turbo diesel in it. Seems to go pretty well for what it is. Quite enjoying having a vehicle you dont have to worry about kerbs & potholes in.

Have also a reasonably modified Subaru thats up for sale at the moment, have done a few bits and pieces and taken round Hampton Downs.

Got a couple of questions about the surf so will find my way around.
Cheers
Brad

welcome chap...

what are ya plans for using this thing? general daily driver or club trips?

its definitely a good platform ya startin with.. we'll all be needing pics though...

p.s.. in regards to skiddly diddly's post numbers.. its more a case of quality vs quantity.. skid dominates the latter.. ( aint that right skid...? aye....? you drivel chronic aye...? Image )

Basically bought as wanted another tow vehicle since I havent had one for a while and looking to get another motox bike soon.
Would like to take it for the odd off road excursion such as Thompsons track etc. (Went up there in mates 3.3 Petrol Terrano no trouble a while ago). Dont want to go to extreme, could see myself spiraling out of control with mods if im not careful haha(This is how my car has ended up as modified as it is)

Only will be getting used on the weekends as got a work ute for during the week anyway.

Basic thinking was maybe a 2 inch suspension lift and some tyres/rims. Need tyres before next wof as ones on it getting down so thats the first priority.

Will find a pic and post up for yah!!
