In HB and would like to join a club.

Hi,

I am new to offroading and would like to join a club. I am living in Napier. I see from google that there are a couple of clubs in Hawkes Bay. Which club would you recommend and is there anyone on here that is a member that could tell me how do you go about joining.

Hi there Ian, yes there is 2 clubs here in the bay, it depends on the type of 4x4ing you wish to do will determine which club. if you want to do family runs with some harder runs then join Twin City club they meet at the RSA in Taradale just rock up to a meeting.
but if you want to do harder runs with more off road-club trucks join up to the Hawkes bay club they also meet at the RSA in Taradale. If you want to contact Weemsy off here as he is a member of Twin city. Both have their good points and both have their bad. get hold of the clubs and ask when their next run is and ask to tag along.

Hi thanks for the reply, well I don't have much experience so probably am not going to be going on any really hard runs just yet but that would be my ultimate goal in the end. I have a truck but I'm not from Hawkes Bay so don't really know anyone.

thats no problem not knowing many people up here, I would sugest you contact the Twin City club and enquire about going out on a run with them, if you want PM me your contact details and I will pass them on to a couplke of guys in the club. then go to a meeting- run and see if they suit the bill.
