help: stuffed 3.5 pajero clutch

Hi Guys,
I have just got back into 4wding after way too many years without one, problem is the clutch on my new pajero has decided to die less than two months after buying it. It's a 1994, 6G74 petrol engine (3496cc). DOHC 24 valve, SWB, 5speed manual.
I hear these clutchs are pigs to change? Anyone with advice on the best way forwards - tricks of the trade? would it be easier to get the motor out and go in that way? or can the box be slipped back far enough to get in to it?
Do the 3.5's have duel mass flywheels? or is that just a diesel thing?
And lastly, i wouldnt normally do this but with money not flowing like it once did im hoping someone might be able to help us get back off the road with a good price on a clutch kit??
Appreciate any help you may be able to offer.
Cheers - Travis
