Back to the subject: Did my usual 5000km service on the GQ today, just the usual, oil, filters, diesel filter, and while re oiling the uni filter (been running them for about 8 years now) i got to thinking how other people do it, these filters seem to be a bit of a pain in the ass to re oil and i strugle to see how any air air manages to get through at all as that thick oil really tacks things up? any one used a dirt bike filter oil on there rigs? that stuff is like a liquid and was always easy as to oil up a filter and get an even coverage, and seemed to tack up nicely.
For what its worth, i went home to the coast last weekend running a standard filter and im sure the uni still produces a bit more poke in the old boy.
Any thoughts or techniques would be much apreciated guys any things got to be better than the rigmarole i go through

PS: gotta love that new oil, Smooooooooooth.
