Heya,

After that lock nut socket to get the front hub of my D21 95 terrano.

I think powerbuilt sell them but are in a set for around $400 called Spindle Socket Sets.

Looks similar to this:

With the 2 prongs.

If anyone has this part i could borrow (could supply beer) asap would be muchly appreciated!

Hey Frazer,

I normally use a small punch and hammer to loosen those hub nuts or put two small punches in opposing holes and use something large to put between the punches and turn. They shouldn't be that tight anyway as this is the crush/pre-load adjustment for the front bearings. You have removed the locking screws and tab?

Gimme a call if ya need more explaining.

Cheers,
Simon.

Make one. a peice of 25x25mm box section and a couple of 6mm high tensile bolts. Drill the box section at the right spacing and put the bolts throug. Just use long bolts to clear the end of the axle. If you reallt want to use a torque wrench to retighten it use a short peice of box and weld a socket to it.

Hey guys, cheers for the advice

Spent most of the day down in the garage (7 hours haha).

But managed to get it done! I just used a screw driver in one of the holes and tapped it with a hammer. They wernt that tight so came off easy! Then just figured out how to get to the lower ball joints

Just need to take it for a wof now, then i can get muddy again instead of getting greasy!

Cheers all
