How long is a piece of string?

A turbo is a turbo. It takes exhuast gas and uses it to spin the turbo and force air into the motor. Petrol, deisel doesn't make any difference.
What does make a difference is the size and type of motor compared to the size of the turbo.
A 4l diesel will have a similar turbo to a 2l petrol but that is a REALLY rough guide as deisel and petrol have different exhuast temperatures so that has an effect as well.

The turbo on my 4.5l petrol V8 is also used on 2L petrol motors with the same ultimate hp. The difference is my motor does it with a lot less boost and a lot less lag.
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

Richie and I fitted the turbo off a 2 litre 6 cyl nissan to a LD28 Nissan, made a wee bit of difference.

same as the Ct20/26 turbos found on Clecias/supras also found on 13bt/1HDt etc etc, but some do have different intake shapes etc etc, so if you can match it it should work :)
