Re: 4WD MT WHITE STATION. Inland Canterbury
Thanks for posting this OverSZ.
I found this whilst looking for the correct place to put up the same info.
My sister's kids go to Springfield School.
The money raised will help fund an extra teacher next year as the school role is growing.
For those that don't know, Mt White Station is hard to gain access to, so this is an opportunity not to be missed.
There will be some great scenery and tracks with views from the upper stretches of the Waimak gorge through to the Puketeraki Range and the Esk River.
I too would like to be going. Alas I have a prior commitment.
And Bill.... Just do it!

I'm told its not challenging. Some steep. Track I hear has just had a blade over it. Trip is open to all in 4WD vehicles. If you are inexperienced you can tuck yourself in behind one of the club trucks.

What are the numbers looking like this close? I have a 4WD L300 van with worn 31" MT tyres, goes lots of places, just doesn't like deep rivers tends to float.
