JEEP WRANGLER GEARBOX BREATHER [AUTO ]
Is there any easy way to do this without having to take out the box ...Cheers

if it's a TF999 then the short answer is no. The std breather is in the oil pump housing and will have to be plugged. To do this, the torque converter has to come out and the oil pump out, then you got to drill and tap for the new breather, usually on top of the case somewhere.

Its A 2002 Wrangler,not sure what the Auto is,have been told they breath into the bell housing

Thanks,probably do after xmas now,have been doing a bit of river 4x4ing on the Coast but nothing over the bonnet ..lol..all ok so far

Great stuff,thanks,have got a auto trans guy in Nelson that has done a few so will gret him to do mine i think
