had a bit of fun today round red rocks, and will be heading up aotea block soon for a bit of a drive..
you dont need to make contact, you just need to turn up. I have the meeting details and will post them tomorrow for you. Its an invite all trip so no need to talk to the dude. These were his exact words. Was that a night 4wd trip on Friday night i hear you mention? night trips are so cool. Aotea block in the dark, imagine that

Nothing planned for either of those days so both are fine by me. Judging from the Queens Birthday pics you guys had an awesome time. Looking forward to getting my Disco stuck up to its door handles in there

imagine the damage i could get nick to do in the dark! he wouldnt be able to see what i was sending him into! hahahh

I think there could be quite a large turn out on this trip. I know I will be there, partly because it is just down the road and partly because I really like it around there. The views over Cook Strait and the entrance to the harbour are breathtaking and even though I have seen them many times they never fail to impress me. Similary the view coming down from Cattle Ridge into the Orongorongo River. Just love it. :thumleft:
Don't know if there will be much opportunity for a play though.

If you are keen all you dad needs to do is drop you off and pick you up again, although if the weather is a bit iffy you may want a roof, especially as it gets windy up the top, otherwise can someone going give you a tow?, if you leave the A frame in the truck that should be ok....
