hmm, maybe I should have a go at the ccvc trip. Not really into falmily shinies but there are some "optional" bits according to the trip sheet. I dont think my tow would be willing to go though.

you dont need to make contact, you just need to turn up. I have the meeting details and will post them tomorrow for you. Its an invite all trip so no need to talk to the dude. These were his exact words. Was that a night 4wd trip on Friday night i hear you mention? night trips are so cool. Aotea block in the dark, imagine that  AWESOME

Nothing planned for either of those days so both are fine by me. Judging from the Queens Birthday pics you guys had an awesome time. Looking forward to getting my Disco stuck up to its door handles in there :D

I think there could be quite a large turn out on this trip. I know I will be there, partly because it is just down the road and partly because I really like it around there. The views over Cook Strait and the entrance to the harbour are breathtaking and even though I have seen them many times they never fail to impress me. Similary the view coming down from Cattle Ridge into the Orongorongo River. Just love it. :thumleft:

I guess nobody saw it. Ive seen a vitara on 3 wheels in it before. People were jumping up and down in the back to try and get traction. That was before the boggy bit.

I've learnt my lesson. Next time you're going first. And i get to choose where you go . I've figured out how to edit but i need to get the camera and chuck it straight onto the comp, not dvd then comp. But it will be done by the weekend so i'll drop you a line when its ready.

Cheers

Keen as for a play on either the 17th or 18th.

Should have new tires and springs on my truck by the end of this week so it's time to test it out.

Cheers
Matt.

theres 3 motox tracks up there, but if any 4wd vehicles are caught using them, there are serious penalties and we will lose access.

went out there for a drive this afternoon, where abouts are those bogs? found a couple small ones, but no biggies

If you are keen all you dad needs to do is drop you off and pick you up again, although if the weather is a bit iffy you may want a roof, especially as it gets windy up the top, otherwise can someone going give you a tow?, if you leave the A frame in the truck that should be ok....

Any idea if you guys are doing a trip on the 17th? Getting bored over here, so if I can get my name off the call roster, I might make the trip over.....
