whats the deal, we mite be heading up those ways over xmas/new years so wanting to know if it is open all the time etc...??? is it worth going there if your running 37's etc or better for everyday kind of truck cos dont really want to do a big side track if its not worth it...???

plenty to see, but when its dry it does tend to get a bit boring, it goes from an average run in the summer to messy as fock and a challenge in the winter.
worth a look though if you never been b4, you will find some challenging areas

Not sure what days it is open during Xmas period, but normally only Saturdays and Sundays under normal circumstances.

It is currently very dry, a couple of the tracks that are very sandy are a bit tricky unless you lower your tyre pressures a heap.

Roger is making a few new tracks at the moment, a couple completed but more to be done which are clay base instead of the mainly sand based tracks which should make it a bit more interesting in winter.

ive been up there and had a quick look around when we were riding at the bike park and couldnt see a great deal of very hard tracks, is there a map or any post on here showing the harder stuff. the boys who do thompsons all year round say dont worry with the place.
